Global Project Management Manager

Job summary

As a Global Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of our global account programs and systems across portfolios and geographies. This role will drive projects and operational tasks forward, coordinating between various teams to ensure timely execution. A master of interpersonal communication and task management, the Global Program Manager will focus on finding scalable solutions. Serving as a gatekeeper, this role will ensure that minimum viable products and services are delivered before scaling across our global operations. Additionally, you will help the team navigate ambiguity and build robust frameworks and processes designed for scalability.

This position requires an individual who is analytical, proactive, organized, and innovative, with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment. You will demonstrate technical expertise, effective communication, and leadership in coordinating activities across a large operational footprint.

Main responsibilities

  • Drive global standardization across multiple geographies and operations.
  • Initiate and manage projects to improve account governance and management.
  • Collaborate with leaders on various processes and projects to ensure seamless execution of governance practices.
  • Manage multiple projects, track progress, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Serve as the custodian of all analytics and information required by management, both ongoing and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Continuously assess current processes to identify areas for improvement or efficiencies.
  • Manage and house all contractual documents, facilitating timely discussions and closures across departments.
  • Create effective presentations for executives, suitable for client presentations.
  • Support the Sales, Business Development, and Innovation teams by creating impactful documents.
  • Project manage global initiatives to ensure timely delivery, keeping the client informed and ensuring that internal stakeholders are aware of developments across regions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, solve problems, and guide operational excellence.
  • Actively drive the development and sharing of best practices and lessons learned to improve cross-process teams.
  • Challenge the status quo by encouraging innovation and calculated risk-taking.
  • Monitor process performance to identify key areas for continuous improvement.
  • Provide business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, experimental analysis) through clear, visual presentations of findings to stakeholders at various levels.

Competencies & professional background

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in program management. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work comfortably with professionals, account managers, senior managers, and directors.
  • Cross-functional management skills with a high EQ and a passion for uniting people behind a common goal.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures.
  • Patience, understanding, and resilience when managing complex situations and competing priorities.
  • Experience in data visualization to provide insights and deliver value through highly effective presentations.
  • Ability to meet multiple demanding deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent client management and presentation skills, as well as stakeholder management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Ability to be flexible and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
    Proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with data/reporting analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
