Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Sales Training & Development Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of our global sales training academy. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our "New Program" and ensuring our sales teams worldwide are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and best practices to excel. You will be the subject matter expert (SME) for training across our Revenue-as-a-Service (RaaS) offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful training solutions.
Main responsibilities
Global Sales Training Academy Ownership
- Assume full ownership of the Global Sales Training Academy, including the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs aligned with strategic business goals.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the academy’s curriculum to ensure it remains current, impactful, and tailored to evolving market demands.
Best Practice Identification and Sharing
- Proactively identify best practices from high-performing sales campaigns across global markets.
- Develop scalable strategies to disseminate these insights organization-wide, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
Sales Training Implementation and Standardization
- Lead the implementation of consistent sales training initiatives across all programs, ensuring global alignment and adherence to established standards.
- Track training effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and continuous optimization.
Training Evolution and Market Adaptation
- Monitor market trends and emerging sales methodologies to inform ongoing training evolution.
- Conduct regular needs assessments to pinpoint skill gaps and areas for enhancement, adapting content accordingly.
New Site Launch Enablement
- Deliver end-to-end training support for new site launches, enabling rapid onboarding and effective integration of new sales teams.
Revenue-as-a-Service (RaaS) Training Expertise
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all RaaS-related training initiatives.
- Design and deliver specialized modules that boost sales proficiency and deepen understanding of RaaS solutions.
Leadership Reporting and Strategic Insights
- Provide regular, data-driven reports and insights to leadership on the impact and effectiveness of sales training programs.
- Use analytics to guide strategic decisions and continuously improve training outcomes.
Competencies & professional background
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in sales training and development, preferably in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, best practices, and market trends.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
- Experience with Revenue as a Service (RaaS) models.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in BPO Company
- Certification in sales training or development.
- Experience with global sales operations.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
Additional Notes:
Travel will be required for global training initiatives. (up to 30%)
