Senior Microbiologist
ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Microbiologist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Senior Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting advanced microbiological research and analysis, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in our field. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our projects.
- Conduct and oversee microbiological testing and analysis to support ongoing research projects.
- Develop and implement protocols for the isolation, identification, and characterization of microorganisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microbiological insights into broader research and development initiatives.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards in the laboratory environment.
- Mentor and guide junior microbiologists and laboratory technicians.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in microbiology and a passion for scientific research. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Microbiology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a microbiology laboratory setting, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for microbiological analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
